I understand that family life can be busy and unexpected things happen, especially with children. For this reason, I do not charge cancellation fees, even for last-minute cancellations.

Most lessons take place in my dedicated home music studio, which provides a comfortable and focused learning environment. Here’s a photo of the room. 😊

Piano Lessons Online

Many of my students live too far away to travel for lessons, so I also offer online piano lessons via Zoom. I both a face camera and an overhead piano camera, students can clearly see demonstrations and technique (student wouldn’t need two cameras). Zoom also allows me to share and annotate sheet music in real time, making lessons interactive and effective.

Home Visits Piano Lessons

If travelling is difficult, I also offer piano lessons in the comfort of your own home for a small additional fee of £2 per lesson.

Hello! I’m Misao, but my students call me Mimi 😊

I’m a 24-year-old piano teacher based in Ball Green, Stoke-on-Trent (ST6 8AL). I’m DBS checked and have completed Prevent Awareness and Child Protection in Education training, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.

Lessons are tailored to each child’s age, personality, learning style, and goals—whether they’re complete beginners or already have experience. With Grade 8 qualifications in both Piano and Music Theory, I provide structured, engaging lessons that build skills and confidence.

My aim is not just to teach piano, but to help children develop independence, creativity, and a genuine love of music. Learning piano encourages concentration, patience, perseverance, and self-expression while giving children a rewarding sense of achievement.

Many of my students choose to take graded piano exams and enjoy the confidence that comes from reaching new milestones and performing their work. 🎹✨
